Pursuant to the Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (“KVKK”), your personal data is processed by ODTÜ Geliştirme Vakfı Bilgi Teknolojileri San. ve Tic. A.Ş. (“Company”) acting as the data controller.

2. Scope of the Privacy Notice
This Privacy Notice has been prepared to inform real persons using the Metutech.design service and data subjects whose personal data is entered within the scope of Metutech.design about the scope of processing of their personal data.
Metutech.design is a service that enables the creation of website drafts, texts, visual layouts, page structures and similar digital outputs with artificial intelligence support, based on limited information and content provided by the user.
3. Categories of Personal Data Processed
Within the scope of providing the Metutech.design service, the following categories of personal data may be processed depending on the actual use of the product:
Identity and contact information: name-surname, title, e-mail address, phone number, address information.
Customer transaction information: order, package, domain name, hosting, payment and renewal information.
User transaction and content information: texts, descriptions, form fields, prompts, visual selections, page preferences, contact information and other content entered into or uploaded to Metutech.design by the user.
Transaction security information: IP address, traffic and log records, session information, error records, security verification records.
Request and support records: support requests, ticket contents, feedback and communication records.
Invoice and accounting information, if any: billing title, tax identification information, payment transaction records.
Special categories of personal data: The entry of special categories of personal data is not envisaged within the use of the Metutech.design service. However, if special categories of personal data are entered into the system by the user, such data may only be processed to the extent necessary and where there is a legal basis in accordance with the applicable legislation. The Company reserves the right to restrict, reject or delete the entry of such data into the system.
Publication and approval records: date, time, user, IP, transaction and log records relating to the user’s review, editing, approval, publication, modification or removal from publication of the content created within the scope of Metutech.design.
4. Purposes of Processing Personal Data
Your personal data may be processed for the following purposes:
Creating, activating and managing the Metutech.design account,
Creating, editing, storing and preparing artificial intelligence-supported website outputs for publication,
Carrying out the technical infrastructure, hosting, security, domain name, content distribution and support processes required for providing the product,
Carrying out customer relations, support, request and complaint processes,
Carrying out invoicing, collection, accounting and contractual processes,
Ensuring transaction security, preventing misuse, logging, detecting errors and ensuring service continuity,
Fulfilling legal obligations, responding to requests from authorized institutions and organizations and managing dispute processes,
Measuring product performance, technical reporting and improving service quality for the secure, efficient and uninterrupted provision of the service,
Making use of technical infrastructure, hosting, security, support or artificial intelligence service providers located in Türkiye or abroad, to the extent necessary for the provision of the service,
Carrying out information, campaign and commercial communication processes regarding our products and services, provided that they comply with the applicable legislation and, where necessary, separate consent is obtained,
Carrying out content removal, access blocking, official authority notifications, Access Providers Association and Information and Communication Technologies Authority notifications, and legal/technical intervention processes under Law No. 5651 and related legislation.
5. Method and Legal Grounds for Collecting Personal Data
Your personal data may be collected automatically or partially automatically through the website, customer panel, purchase screens, forms, support channels, electronic communication tools, technical logs and the Metutech.design usage flow.
Your personal data may be processed based on the following legal grounds set out under Article 5 and, where applicable, Article 6 of the KVKK:
Processing is directly related to the establishment or performance of a contract,
Processing is necessary for the Company to fulfill its legal obligations,
Processing is necessary for the establishment, exercise or protection of a right,
Processing is necessary for the legitimate interests of the Company, provided that it does not harm the fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject,
Explicit consent of the data subject, where necessary.
6. Transfer of Personal Data
Your personal data may be transferred to the following recipient groups in accordance with Articles 8 and 9 of the KVKK, limited to the purposes stated above:
Parties from whom legal, financial advisory, audit and similar professional consultancy services are received,
Hosting, domain name, security, support, content distribution, analytics and similar technical service providers,
Domestic and/or foreign providers offering artificial intelligence infrastructure or supporting services,
Business partners providing services for payment, invoicing and accounting processes,
Authorized public institutions and organizations, courts, enforcement offices, regulatory and supervisory authorities, the Information and Communication Technologies Authority, the Access Providers Association and other authorized authorities, where necessary.
If a transfer abroad is involved, such transfer is carried out based on the applicable transfer mechanism under Article 9 of the KVKK. Where explicit consent is separately required for a transfer abroad, such transfer will be subject to a separate explicit consent process.
7. Information on Automated Processing and Use of Artificial Intelligence
Data entered during the use of Metutech.design may be processed for the purposes of providing the service securely, efficiently and accurately, detecting errors, measuring system performance and carrying out technical improvement processes. Separate explicit consent will be obtained where necessary for product development, marketing, personalization or similar additional purposes that are not mandatory for providing the service.
This process may involve automated or partially automated methods for the purpose of generating content and providing design suggestions. However, user review and approval are essential before the final content is published.
Data entered within the scope of using Metutech.design may be processed for product development, improvement of service quality and technical improvement processes, provided that the processing complies with applicable legislation and necessary technical, administrative and legal measures are taken.
8. Retention Period of Personal Data
Your personal data is retained for the periods stipulated under the applicable legislation and for the period required for the purposes for which it is processed; upon expiry of such period, it is deleted, destroyed or anonymized.
Data processed within the scope of the Metutech.design service may be retained to the extent necessary for providing the service, ensuring security, keeping transaction records, carrying out technical support processes and fulfilling legal obligations.
9. Rights of the Data Subject
Pursuant to Article 11 of the KVKK, as a data subject, you may apply to the Company and exercise the following rights:
To learn whether your personal data is processed,
To request information if your personal data has been processed,
To learn the purpose of processing your personal data and whether it is used in accordance with such purpose,
To know the third parties to whom your personal data is transferred in Türkiye or abroad,
To request correction if your personal data has been processed incompletely or inaccurately,
To request deletion or destruction of your personal data under the conditions set out in the KVKK,
To request notification of correction, deletion or destruction processes to third parties to whom your personal data has been transferred,
To object to the occurrence of a result against you by means of analysis of processed data exclusively through automated systems,
To request compensation if you suffer damage due to unlawful processing of your personal data by the data controller.
10. Application Method
Applications to exercise the rights stated above must be submitted in writing with a wet signature by post, through the KEP address using a secure electronic signature or mobile signature, or via the e-mail address previously notified to our Company by the data subject and registered in our systems.
Applications that do not comply with the specified procedures, do not allow identity verification or do not contain the information and documents required under the applicable legislation will not be considered valid applications under the KVKK and will not be processed. Applications duly submitted will be concluded as soon as possible and in any event within thirty (30) days, depending on the nature of the request.
11. Entry into Force and Updates
This Privacy Notice has been prepared specifically for the Metutech.design service. The Company may update this notice in line with legislative changes, technical architecture changes or operational needs. The current version shall be effective as of the date of publication.
